Trame

Platform: Browser-based; image processing runs locally in the browser.

Digitizing tools: Editable manual curves, closed fills and satin rails; image-based running contours, fixed/adaptive satin, tatami and decorative fills; editable layer sewing order.
Embroidery formats: Imports DST, XXX, EXP; experimental exports DST, XXX, EXP.
Important notes: Exports are experimental. Optional underlay, compensation, and securing support specific stitch styles. Adaptive satin does not support pull compensation; fabric presets are editable starting values, and physical validation is still required.

Compucon Stitch & Sew 2.1

Price and license: Legacy licensed software; current pricing is not published in the cited vendor and reseller pages. Ask the seller about availability and support.
Platform: Windows desktop software. Compucon partner Wavenet lists SnS 2.1 installation files for Windows 7 through 11.
Input and editing: Artwork and existing embroidery designs; AutoPunch and PhotoStitch offer assisted image-to-embroidery routes.
Digitizing tools: Manual editing and digitizing, lettering, AutoPunch, PhotoStitch, and cross-stitch tools vary by product level.
