A free creative tool
Trame is a personal project published by Robin Guinant. You can use the editor without an account or subscription. Optional donations support the project; they do not buy a feature, a delivery commitment, or a support contract. Any payment takes place on the external donation service under its terms.
Your artwork and files
You keep the rights you hold in your artwork and designs. Trame does not acquire ownership of the files you import or create. Only use images, fonts, logos, and other content you are entitled to use, and respect any relevant third-party licenses. Importing an asset does not grant permission to reproduce it on embroidered products.
Save your work regularly as a .trame project and keep backups. The editor is not a backup service. Machine files contain stitch instructions and may lose editing information that a .trame project retains.
Experimental embroidery output
DST, XXX, and EXP exports are experimental. A successful download does not certify that a design is suitable for your machine, fabric, thread, or hoop. The preview shows a drawing of the stitch paths, not a prediction of the finished fabric. Optional underlay, pull compensation, and securing stitches are available for supported configurations; these controls do not certify physical stitch quality.
Check the file in software appropriate for your machine, verify dimensions and hoop clearance, and sew a small test before production. Follow your machine’s instructions. Trim commands and color changes can behave differently across machines and formats. Do not rely on a screen preview as a machine safety guarantee.
Availability and responsible use
The service and its features may change or become unavailable. We aim to fix problems, but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every design will process successfully. Do not misuse the service, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it unlawfully.
Trame is provided as available, without a promise of fitness for a particular embroidery job. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the publisher is not responsible for losses resulting from unsuitable designs, unsaved work, or machine use. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that the law does not allow to be excluded.
Comparisons, links, and updates
Guides describe the features available when reviewed. Comparisons identify the edition and sources checked; vendor prices, platforms, and offers may change. Other product names belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
